ORDERING INFORMATION

Once you have placed your order you will receive an automated confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours please email us at prestonandhowlett@gmail.com

DELIVERY:

At Preston & Howlett we like to support Australian business, so we post all orders with Australia Post. All our jewellery is safely packaged and dispatched within 5 business days from date of purchase via Australia Post's express postal service. Your parcel can be tracked on the Australia Post website with the tracking number provided in your confirmation email.

 

PAYMENT METHOD: 

Through our online boutique you can purchase items using PayPal, or VISA and Mastercard. Preston & Howlett will appear on your bank statement. All prices are listed in Australian dollars.

 

POSTAGE & HANDLING:

We offer FREE WORLDWIDE DELIVERY on all orders over $300 AUD. 

Postage and handling is a flat rate fee of $15 within Australia. Free domestic and worldwide shipping for all orders over $300 AUD.

Your order will be shipped within 5 business days of receipt.

Delivery times are an estimate only and Preston & Howlett will not be liable for any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery through Australia Post.

The item will be carefully packaged to ensure that it arrives in pristine condition. If your jewellery arrives damaged, you must notify our team within 48 hours. Email prestonandhowlett@gmail.com

TAXES & DUTIES:

All applicable custom fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer. Custom authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package. It is at the sole discretion of custom agents to release your package. Note, in rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages. Preston & Howlett is not responsible for any delays. 

LOST OR DAMAGED GOODS:

If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 working days of placing your order so that we may assist you.

STOCK:
In the very unlikely case that a product you have purchased is unavailable we will contact you immediately. If the transaction has been processed we will reverse the payment.  We will then inform you when the product will be available. 

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGE POLICY:

Unfortunately we are unable to issue refunds unless there is manufacturing fault present. 

Please choose carefully as we do not offer an exchange or refund on pierced earrings for hygiene reasons or for any items where you have changed your mind, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it. 

 

REFUNDS

All faulty items will be fully inspected before a refund can be issued. The product must be sent within 3 business days of making a claim for faulty goods. If you are issued a refund it we will credited back onto credit the card or account that you placed the order with. Returning faulty goods is the responsibility of the purchaser.

 

GENUINE PRODUCT:

The only way to ensure you're buying genuine Preston & Howlett product is to purchase from this store online. Product purchased outside of our website it likely to be counterfeit.

Counterfeit goods appear very similar to genuine product, including the use of official logos and brand identifiers, however close inspection will reveal poor quality materials, cheap stones and poor craftsmanship. Counterfeit product is sold in violation of trademark and intellectual property laws. Selling and purchasing of counterfeit product is illegal.

If you are aware of anyone selling counterfeit Preston & Howlett product please contact us immediately.

 

FAULTY ITEMS:

All items are quality checked before they are ready for dispatch however on the very occasionally there may be a fault we didn't find.

Claims for faulty goods must be made within 3 months of purchase.

Please note that the general wear and tear in the course of normal use is not considered a manufacturing fault. The jewellery containing, glass, resin or semi precious stones are delicate and fragile and should be handled carefully. Crystal or glass stones breaking from mishandling is not considered a manufacturing fault. Manufacturing faults do not include cracked or broken stones or if an item has been bent out of shape from wear or if the plating starts to fade. 

The jewellery is handmade and can be very fragile. If it is dropped on a hard surface it could break or stones could loosen. If pressure is placed on the earring posts or if they are bent out of shape they can weaken. This can result in breakage. Please ensure to keep your earrings in the original packaging to prevent this from occurring. Preston & Howlett is not required to fix items have been broken or replace stones. 

Due to the nature of gold and silver plating, and the frequency of wear, it can over time rub off and or discolour. This is a natural part of the wear and tear, and is not considered and manufacturing fault

VARIANCES IN SEMI PRECIOUS STONES: 

Natural stones vary in colour and size. Your piece will bear individual characteristics and although equally as beautiful and unique, it may vary slightly from the photograph shown on the website. 

Please look at all photos provided of the product to see the variances. If you have a special request for a particular colour tone please email the team before placing an order. 

Regrettably no exchanges will be accepted for a different piece based on the characteristics of the stones. 

 

WEIGHTS: 

Please make sure to read the description of each design. The weights are approximates only. The weight may vary within a couple of grams due to the use of natural stones. If you have any questions regarding the size or weight of a product please enquire before making a purchase. We can not offer offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.
